Our Story
We met through an online app and matched with each other. We immediately hit it off by sharing identical interests and talked to each other almost every day. After two weeks of getting to know each other, Brian called me and asked me out on a date and offered to pick me up in Miami. Since Brian was unfamiliar with my area, he asked me where I would like to eat after he picked me up. I told him I was craving “Flannigans.”
After we finished eating ribs, he asked if I wanted to go see a movie. Brian drove me to Aventura mall where he purchased tickets to see “The Joker.” Whilst watching the movie, I felt someone starring at me so I turned to my side and noticed Brian looking at me. He smiled and said, “you are so beautiful” and leaned in for a kiss from me. Ever since that date, we’ve been in a serious relationship.
Fast forward to present, we settled down and purchased our first home and adopted a doberman named Titus. On Sunday, February 13, 2022, (Super Bowl Sunday) Brian planned to propose by surprising me when I got home from work at midnight thereby making it Valentine’s Day. Brian decorated our bedroom with balloons, flowers, rose pedals, chocolates, strawberries, grapes, and a bottle of champagne with a sign that reads, “Will you marry me?” I took the last three hours off from work to come home early and was met by the surprise when I opened our bedroom door. I immediately started crying and sat down on the floor. Brian got down on one knee and popped the question and now we’re here!
